A Somewhat Jewish Scandal

I am not in the life insurance business. But if I were, I would not be queueing up to take on the risk of Ghislaine Maxwell’s life.[1]

Before getting into this, bear in mind that many in this saga are Jewish. Ghislaine Maxwell’s lover, Jeffrey Epstein, was Jewish. Her father, Robert Maxwell, was Jewish. Her mother, Elizabeth, was a Holocaust researcher. Her friend Harvey Weinstein is Jewish. Emily Maitlis[2] is Jewish.

And also bear in mind that the Mossad – Israel’s intelligence service – has a truly appalling track record in terms of killing people.  According to Ronen Bergman’s book Rise and Kill First the Mossad has already assassinated at least 2,700 people. Some of these, of course, were terrorists. But plenty of others were not; they were scientists, diplomats, journalists and others (including waiters) who just happened to be perceived as a risk. And also bear in mind that a number of the individuals involved – including Jeffrey Epstein and Robert Maxwell – might well have been Mossad agents. It is unlikely that anyone in Mossad would lose very much sleep if Ghisaine Maxwell were to be their 2,701^th victim.

Hold up! What makes us think that Jeffrey Epstein was a Mossad agent? Well, certainly Ari Ben Menashe says that Jeffrey Epstein was a Mossad agent, and that at least part of the purpose of his operations was to blackmail influential people for Mossad purposes – setting a series of honeytraps in other words. He is not the only one; Steven Hoffenberg says the same thing. Neither of these people stand on any very high mountain of respectability. Steven Hoffenberg is a convicted fraudster who says that Jeffrey Epstein was his partner in crime.

The case in respect of Robert Maxwell is less fanciful. At his funeral in Israel, according to Wikipedia:

Six serving and former heads of Israeli intelligence services attended Maxwell’s funeral in Israel, while Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir eulogized him and stated: “He has done more for Israel than can today be said.”^[45]

Does Ghislaine Maxwell also have a track record of working for Mossad? Who knows? It appears that she was introduced to Epstein by her father, who thought that Epstein might be a suitable partner for up her. Query whether, working with her father, Ghislaine was also instrumental in introducing Epstein to Mossad? We just don’t know.

Neither do we know the certain whether Robert Maxwell was murdered by Mossad, or by another agency. Or whether Jeffrey Epstein was murdered by Mossad, or by another agency. Some would say that they were both suicides, but that does seem unlikely.

It does seem strange that Ghislaine Maxwell should have remained in the United States following the death of Jeffrey Epstein. She was born in France, has a French passport and could presumably have holed up in France instead of New Hampshire.[3] Had she done so she would – as a French citizen – have been out of reach of the American judicial system. Maybe she thought that the same powers that had protected Jeffrey Epstein would protect her in that system? If so, that is likely to be a serious miscalculation. There is virtually no prospect that she will receive a fair trial in the United States. If she manages to remain alive until her trial, that is. The fact that her accusers are known liars and carpetbaggers will be neither here nor there. American justice is now, in considerable part, a matter of mob rule.

Which is a very good reason why Prince Andrew should keep the United States of America off his itinerary forever. I suspect there is nothing that the American mob would like more than to see him on trial. It would be the best spectacle since Colonel Custer –  fresh from the New York stage – was killed by the Native Americans at the Battle of the Little Bighorn. Or maybe since O.J. Simpson managed, on live television, to beat the rap for murdering his wife.

It seems not unlikely that Jeffrey Epstein had managed to capture many of his “friends” on video enjoying the company of his cadet prostitutes, or just enjoying his hospitality. His death clearly reduced the risk of exposure for those people. The arrest of Ghislaine Maxwell re-enlivens that risk. There are plenty of people who would like to see her dead.

It is perfectly possible that Ghislaine Maxwell had already done a deal with Federal prosecutors before her arrest. But that would not be the same thing as doing a deal with the Mossad.

Not the same thing at all.
