Uniform

Unhappily, the evidence suggests that once a tyrant gets into power, by election or otherwise, it is all too easy for him to find enough people wearing police or military uniforms to implement his orders of oppression. This seems to be the case even in countries that have a tradition of civility, such as Germany in the 1930s, or Canada today.
